My studio, sometimes filled with the imagined scent of sea air is a sanctuary. And it's from this place of deep reflection that I create the art you see – paintings not just to decorate a wall, but to invite a sense of peace, a hint of nostalgia, and a deeper connection to the natural world into your home.

There's a particular magic in the way light touches the ocean, highlighting the crest of the wave and dancing across the water. I am in the best company when I stand before the vastness of the ocean and am captivated by its power and allure. Rembrandt enjoined the human struggle and the power of nature with depictions of storms at sea The depth and energy of nature captured by J.M.W. Turner is unsurpassed, with dramatic skies and luminous waters, the raw energy and sublime beauty of the sea. Hokusai, captured the majesty of the wave. Impressionists, like Claude Monet painted vibrant coastal scenes and sought to capture the fleeting dance of light on water.

These masters and contemporary artists alike understand that the ocean is more than just water; it's a mirror for our emotions, a source of endless inspiration, and a powerful symbol of life's ebb and flow. Like them, I'm drawn to the ocean's profound ability to evoke deep feeling and transport us to a place of reflection and wonder.
