This is an oil painting inspired by visits to Mont St Michel in northern France & to St Michael's Mount in Cornwall and uncovering folklore and religious laylines all of which led back to the mystery and wonder of David Almond's book, named Skellig after Skellig Michel in Ireland also part of the connected sites.
A more abstracted view of the coastal locations where these important sites lie.
Measuring internally at 30 x 30 and framed in a dark wood simple frame to complement and enhance the painting.
